Munich-based startup LG Fashion Labs offers free DPP audits to EU fashion brands

The audit is based on the Trace4Value DPP Data Protocol v2, which defines approximately 125 data fields across multiple compliance domains and is currently considered one of the most comprehensive assessment frameworks in the textile sector.
With the launch of the EU DPP Registry in July 2026 and the expected Delegated Act for textiles in late 2026 or early 2027, mandatory implementation for fashion brands is drawing nearer. At the same time, according to LGFL, there is a structural discrepancy between perceived and actual preparedness:
“Many brands assume that their existing traceability solutions already make them DPP-ready. In practice, however, these systems often cover only 20 to 30 percent of the required data,” says Lior Gabriel, founder of LG Fashion Labs.
In particular, product-related data such as fiber-level material composition, chemical compliance, reparability, and end-of-life information is often not recorded in a structured manner.
The audit offered includes a comprehensive gap analysis across nine compliance domains and is conducted for a collection of up to 15 styles. It is based on existing brand documents such as tech packs and bills of materials (BOMs). The evaluation is conducted without IT integration, and is completed within five business days.
LG Fashion Labs is a member of the Fashion Council Germany and the EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform.
