REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATING TEAMS
(I) Team and Enterprise Qualifications
If competing as a team, the principal applicant of the project must, in principle, be a core member of the team. If competing as an enterprise, the principal applicant must be the legal representative or a core senior executive, and meet at least one of the following criteria:
1. Talent Qualification Requirements: The principal applicant must be a technical/industrial backbone in energy storage or related fields, and in principle, should hold a doctoral degree, or be a full-time doctoral candidate or a post-doctoral researcher. For individuals with over 5 years of R&D/industrialization experience in the industry who hold mid-to-high-level management positions in an enterprise, the degree requirement may be relaxed to a master s degree. For overseas projects, the principal applicant must be a doctoral scholar studying, starting a business, or employed abroad who has not yet returned to China to establish a business.
2. Technological Leadership Requirements: The team/enterprise must possess independent intellectual property rights (IPR) or core technologies with clear ownership and no disputes. The IPR must belong to the participating team (enterprise). The technological achievements must be in an industry-leading position and capable of filling gaps in the industry.
3. Industrialization Stage Requirements: The project must feature independent innovative products, technologies, or services that have entered the market application or pilot-scale testing stage, with a clear and highly feasible path for industrial implementation.
(II) Other Competition Requirements
1. Participating teams and enterprises must have no adverse records, such as serious dishonesty, major administrative penalties, or scientific research misconduct.
2. Projects that won the first, second, or third prizes in the 2025\“Chu Yun Cup\“are not allowed to re-enter. However, exceptions may be made upon approval by the organizing committee for projects that have achieved major technological iterations or industrialization progress based on the inaugural session. A single team (enterprise) is not allowed to register for multiple tracks. A single project can only be registered for one track. Plagiarism, falsification, and fraudulent prize-claiming are strictly prohibited. Once verified, qualifications will be immediately revoked, rewards will be recovered, and a public notice will be issued.

01. Registration&Submission Deadline: July 31 Submission of projects and registration files.
02. Preliminary Rounds August–September Regional sub-arenas in Beijing, Hangzhou, and Guangzhou;
overseas sub-arena in Munich, Germany.\“8+7\“roadshow format (8-min presentation + 7-min Q&A).
Up to 30 projects selected for the Grand Finale.
03. Grand Finale&Awards Early to Mid-October Offline Grand Finale in Guangzhou.
\“10+5\“roadshow format (10-min presentation + 5-min Q&A). Awards: 3 First, 5 Second,
7 Third, and 15 Finalist Awards.

A total of 30 award slots are available across the competition, with a total prize pool of 910,000 RMB. Prize money will be transferred directly to the accounts of the participating enterprises or team principal applicants:
Million-Level Industrial Incubation Support
• Projects settling in the Baiyun District New Energy Storage Incubator will immediately receive
300,000 RMB in startup support.
• Projects with excellent evaluations can receive an additional second-stage support of up to
2 million RMB (choiceof one from: growth grant, investment reward, or equity investment).
Comprehensive Multi-Tiered Talent Benefits
• Eligible applicants can apply for Baiyun District s\“Yunfeng Card / Yunxiu Card / Yunju Talent
Card (3.0)\“, enjoying exclusive comprehensive services covering household registration (hukou),
apartments, medical care, and more.
• Members of the incubated project teams can enjoy stacked policy support,
receiving a maximum cash reward of up to 1.5 million RMB.
